HEATHER HELENE KING (Ensemble) has been dancing with GHDT for 19 seasons. She has covered roles in the company’s repertoire ranging from dramatic to comic, and has had the honor of originating roles as Mother Mary in SUPERHERO, Alice in Alice.and Her Bizarre Adventures in Wonderland, and Juliet in Romeo and Juliet at the Disco. She toured Latvia with GHDT in 2006 and 2007 and performed in the Baltic Ballet Festival. She is a graduate of the IU School of Music, where she received a Bachelor of Music degree in French Horn Performance. She has performed in musicals at both ICT and KCT. She is a ballroom dance teacher and enjoys doing voiceover work for GHDT and others, and playing and singing in local bands; The Graveyard Stompers and King Crabb. Heather is also a 2013 recipient of the Creative Renewal Arts Fellowship from Art’s Council of Indianapolis. She has known La Casa Azul since its inception and is happy to be a part of it finally reaching the stage!
