LARA ROMERO (Cristina/Ensemble) is delighted to be making her debut with Gregory Hancock Dance Theater in the world premiere of La Casa Azul. Lara is a Spanish native, born in Madrid, Spain. She moved to the United States at the young age of eight. During the day, Lara is a Contract Analyst, but music has always been her primary passion. She was first chair violinist in her high school, and participated in varsity show choir her four years there. She continued her love for music taking vocal lessons in college, and was lead singer/songwriter from 2008-2010 for her band while revisiting her roots and studying abroad in Spain. She is grateful to her family, especially her mother, for their continued support and encouragement in following her dreams. A special thanks to Gregory Hancock for making this possible. Reach for the moon, even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars!
